The Pope has mad a new list of seven deadly sins. The new things on the list include Drug pushers, the obscenely rich, environmental polluters and “manipulative” genetic scientists. Nothing was mentioned about child molesters. Any reason for that?
The new list did come from the Pope, who is the head of the Catholic church. Isn't that the church that has settled many lawsuits concerning priests who were accused of child molesting?
So let me get this straight,
-----people doing genetics research....going to hell.
-----people selling drugs....................going to hell.
-----rich people.................................going to hell.
-----polluters....................................going to hell.
Child molesting priests.....................going to play golf.
Are rich organizations going to hell? If they are then the whole Catholic church must headed for damnation. They have more money than most corporations. Estimates for their wealth is in the billions. It's difficult to tell, unlike a nonprofit the church's books are not open for public review.
So let's recap this....Genetic researchers going to hell, child molesters not.

What ever happen to Pope John Paul II? When did the dark lord from Star wars take over the church? Can you tell that this has pissed me off? I will calm down in a few minutes, or days, or weeks, maybe.

Being a recovered Catholic, I totally agree.. this was ridiculous and Darth Vader should really step down from the Vatican. I think he just needs to go build a new death star and invite the child molesters to come with him.
I have tried to avoid reading too much about this because it makes me angry too.
